Pricing Plans

This product has been renamed twice: originally Pardot, then Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (MCAE), and now Agentforce Marketing. Many buyers still search for "Pardot pricing" — this is the same product. Priced per organization (not per seat), with tiers based on features and contact volume. Annual commitment required. The newer "Agentforce Marketing" Growth/Advanced editions are the current offering; legacy MCAE tiers are still purchasable.

Hidden Costs

3 items
Why this matters
The advertised starting price is rarely the price you pay at scale. These are the costs buyers most commonly encounter after signing — ones that aren't prominently disclosed on the pricing page.
Requires a Salesforce CRM license
Agentforce Marketing does not function as a standalone product — you must have an existing Salesforce Sales Cloud or Service Cloud license. For teams not already on Salesforce, this effectively doubles or triples the true cost of entry.
Implementation costs are substantial
Salesforce estimates implementation starts at $25,000. Real-world implementations through partners routinely run $50,000–$150,000 for mid-market deployments.
Legacy MCAE contact-based pricing still exists
The older Pardot/MCAE tiers (Growth $1,250/mo for 10k contacts through Premium $15,000/mo for 75k contacts) are still available and sometimes sold alongside the new org-based model. Make sure you know which pricing structure you are being quoted.

Negotiation Reality

What we know

Salesforce fiscal Q4 ends January 31 — the single best time to buy or renew. Salesforce sales teams have aggressive quota pressure at end of Q4 and will negotiate on both price and contract terms. Always get a competing quote from Marketo or HubSpot before entering negotiations. Bundle deals with Sales Cloud or Service Cloud often unlock additional discounts.

General tips
  • Ask at end-of-quarter — sales reps have monthly and quarterly targets
  • Get competing quotes before your first call
  • Ask specifically about first-year discounts vs. renewal rates
  • Request a multi-year rate even if you plan to buy one year
