Pricing Plans

as of March 26, 2026 · annual pricing ⓘ
ZoomInfo does not publish pricing. All plans are annual contracts, quote-based. The Basic plan at ~$3,000/yr is not publicly advertised and is selectively offered — ask for it directly. ZoomInfo is unique in this category: credits are only spent on export, not on viewing or searching contact data. This means Basic's 2,000 credits go much further than credit limits at competing tools. Professional at $14,995/yr is the entry point most buyers encounter without asking. Prices shown are list rates; negotiated deals typically land 20-40% below list.

What trips people up about ZoomInfo's pricing

ZoomInfo's pricing looks like a simple four-tier structure, but the credit system and tier restrictions are where buyers get caught off guard. Credits are only spent when you export a contact — not when searching or viewing. Each exported contact costs 1 credit, regardless of how many data points are included. Credits are pooled across your team, not allocated per seat. The Basic plan is intentionally limited: you cannot add users or credits, so any team that grows beyond 1 user or 2,000 exports is funneled into Professional at nearly 5x the price. Intent data is available on Advanced and Elite only — not on the two entry tiers. Plan names reflect credit volume and features, not team size. One minor quirk: Basic includes work history, education history, web references, and social links — features that oddly disappear on Professional and Advanced and only return on Elite. Worth noting: unlike most competitors, ZoomInfo allows you to view contact data without spending credits — credits are only consumed on export. This means you can research and verify contacts before committing a credit, which is a meaningful advantage over tools that charge on view.

Hidden Costs

6 items
Why this matters
The advertised starting price is rarely the price you pay at scale. These are the costs buyers most commonly encounter after signing — ones that aren't prominently disclosed on the pricing page.
Basic is not publicly advertised — ask for it
The Basic plan at ~$3,000/yr is not listed on ZoomInfo's website and is selectively offered. Most buyers default to Professional at $14,995/yr without knowing Basic exists. Ask your rep explicitly for Basic pricing before accepting a Professional quote. Because ZoomInfo only charges credits on export (not on view), Basic's 2,000 credits are more useful than similar limits at other tools.
Credit overages
Credits are only spent when you export a contact — not when you view or search. Each exported contact costs 1 credit regardless of how many data points are included. Still, 2,000–5,000 credits goes fast for active outbound teams.
Intent data requires Advanced tier
Buyer intent signals are not available on Basic or Professional. You need Advanced ($21,995/yr) or Elite to access them — locking out the two lowest tiers.
Global Data add-on
International contact coverage is listed at $9,995/year and not included in any base plan. That said, it is one of the easiest discounts to get — a single ask has yielded as much as 75% off. Always negotiate this separately before signing.
Renewal increases
Users consistently report 10–20% price increases at renewal. Auto-renewal clauses are standard and enforced. They are typically triggered 30–60 days prior to end of term, though this varies by contract. A simple email to your rep immediately after signing saying "This is my notice of non-renewal" covers you if you're not ready to commit long-term.
AI Copilot
AI features require Elite tier or a separate purchase. Not bundled into lower plans.

Real-World Pricing Scenario

what you'll actually pay
Scenario: 5-rep sales team on Advanced plan
List price
$21,995/yr
What you should pay
$16,000–$18,000/yr
How to get there

ZoomInfo expects negotiation. Come in with a competitor quote from Apollo or Lusha, push for 20–25% off list, and ask for additional bulk credits to be thrown in. End-of-quarter timing (March, June, September, December) significantly improves leverage — reps are under heavy quota pressure. Multi-year deals unlock further discounts.

Negotiation Reality

What we know

ZoomInfo is highly negotiable, especially at end-of-quarter. Discounts of 20–40% on list price are common. Multi-year commits unlock larger discounts. Competing quotes from Seamless or Clay are effective leverage. On the Global Data add-on ($9,995/yr list): a single ask has yielded discounts as high as 75% — always negotiate this separately before signing.

Negotiation intel is based on first-hand vendor research conducted by the SBB team, third-party procurement data, and community-reported contract outcomes. Individual results vary. Discounts are not guaranteed.

General tips
  • Ask at end-of-quarter — sales reps have monthly and quarterly targets
  • Get competing quotes before your first call
  • Ask specifically about first-year discounts vs. renewal rates
  • Request a multi-year rate even if you plan to buy one year
