Why this matters
The advertised starting price is rarely the price you pay at scale. These are the costs buyers most commonly encounter after signing — ones that aren't prominently disclosed on the pricing page.
HubSpot subscription is mandatory
Clearbit/Breeze Intelligence is no longer available as a standalone tool. You must have a paid HubSpot subscription to use it. The HubSpot subscription alone starts at $30/mo (Starter) and scales to $800+/mo (Professional) and $3,600+/mo (Enterprise). Your real minimum cost is $75+/mo just to start.
No longer works outside HubSpot
Teams using Salesforce, Pipedrive, or any other CRM cannot use Clearbit/Breeze Intelligence. The standalone API and CRM-agnostic integrations that made Clearbit popular have been discontinued.
Credits expire monthly with no rollover
Breeze Intelligence credits reset every month. Unused credits are lost. Teams with uneven enrichment volumes consistently overpay.
Buyer Intent requires HubSpot Professional
Access to Buyer Intent data (one of Clearbit's key features) requires HubSpot Professional at $800+/month. The entry-level Starter tier does not include it.
1 enrichment = 10 credits
Credit math is not straightforward. Each enriched record consumes 10 credits, not 1. The "100 credit" Starter plan actually provides only 10 enrichments per month at the lowest tier.

Negotiation Reality

What we know

Clearbit/Breeze Intelligence is no longer independently negotiable — pricing is governed by HubSpot's contracts. If you are already a HubSpot customer, Breeze Intelligence add-ons can sometimes be bundled into renewals at a discount. For teams not already in HubSpot, the mandatory subscription cost makes this a poor choice purely for sales intelligence.
